VATICAN II & PERSONAL INTERPRETATION

.
VATICAN II,
CONSCIENCE,
PERSONAL INTERPRETATION
OF CHURCH TEACHING,
& THE NEW EVANGELISATION

The most serious problem in the Catholic Church in the last 50 years has been that many older Catholics believe that, as a consequence of Vatican II, their personal conscience now has primacy over the teachings of the Catholic Church. This has lead many to believe in 'personal interpretation of Church teaching'. Beyond this, many believe that Vatican II ended regular confession and that 'confession is now only a once a year occurrence'. Many older Catholics also believe, and profess, that Catholics can now receive Holy Communion whether or not they are in a state of grace.

These false teachings, which never made up any part of the documents of Vatican II, constitute Acts Against Faith and have since been unfortunately passed on to our two most recent Catholic generations at continued and damaging cost to the Faith...

...meaning that a multitude of younger Catholics have been denied the opportunity of forming a profound & deep relationship with Jesus at the heart of the Catholic Church.

This funny, but theologically accurate, video below explains that Vatican II never said that a Catholic could believe in personal interpretation above the teaching of the Catholic Church. It explains that we must strive to have an informed conscience. It also goes on to explain the actual correct theology and teaching concerning the Primacy of Conscience.

The New Evangelisation is rectifying these problems by teaching the Catholic Faith correctly, but also by evangelising younger Catholics, so as to ensure a correct understanding, and the effective passing on of the authentic Catholic Faith, to future generations.
