LATIN MASS

in
THE LATIN MASS
& THE JUVENTUTEM WYD MOVEMENT

The Latin Mass
 is becoming central to
the New Evangelisation because
it evangelises through beauty, instils great
devotion in Christ, and has fostered
great reverence at Mass, particularly
in the younger generations.

In England
the Extraordinary Form Latin Mass
in the Traditional Roman Rite (the Tridentine Mass)
has gone from having 6 Latin Mass centres to 188 Latin Mass centres in only 7 years. The Latin Mass is also having a wide resurgence in America with a quarter of the State of Texas reverting to Latin Mass only. The
Latin Mass has also spread across the other
southern states and Florida. This is
now happening in the UK.

JUVENTUTEM

THE TRADITIONAL LATIN MASS

WORLD YOUTH DAY ORGANISATION

JUVENTUTEM is an international movement of young Roman Catholics of the ages 18 to 35 who are attached to the Tridentine Mass which came out of the World Youth Day Movement.

20,000 young Catholics attend the French Chartres Pilgrimage every year through Juventutem, and celebrate the Latin Mass every day on the week long pilgrimage (see pictures below). Every major city and diocese in the UK has a Juventutem Chapter which are normally attached to our Catholic Cathedrals.

The aim of the society is to foster and strengthen relationships between younger Catholics at the national and international levels, and to encourage and assist them in developing their faith.
